In 1926 (XX century) was discovered under the nave of the church in the town of Vault, the archaeological site of Santa Eulalia, the only solutions are proposed to explain its origin, its function and meaning, since there is no documentation. Originally
semienterrado was not like today, and had two floors. Of these, only the bottom is preserved, except the central part of its roof lost during excavation.
COLUMN INSIDE THE CRYPT
is a rectangular space with a barrel vault and three naves separated by columns and arches in the background, a niche was the staircase linking the upper floor, in the center there is a shallow pool, which has suggested an application based on the healthy properties of its waters, as popular belief or sacred place magical.

LEGENDARY HISTORY OF THE SANCTUARY IN SANTA EULALIA DE VAULT
