The Organization " 2 º Festival Roots Folk Song Unpublished 'consisting of Set " Labradores de mi Tierra" and the Cultural Center Estate Styling, congratulated all the authors, composers and performers participating in the competition, guest artists and judges, for their excellent participation.
We can not fail to mention that this festival was made with great effort and dedication. While awards are not economically equal to other festivals of this kind, an attempt to provide a pleasant environment for participants and guest artists feel comfortable and welcome. 2 nd Day of Memory and Art in The Mirror

Violeta Parra Park was the ideal setting for this 2 nd Day of Memory and Art "The Mirror, Victor Jara reborn." Accompanied
children, youth and entire families enjoyed an afternoon full of memories, stories and testimonials from participants of workshops Literature, Burlap, dance, carnival masks. All this accompanied by music and dancing for all ages. Thus the metal Hevy, Chilean folk and Latin music for dancing, joined us and entertained.
Neighbors, friends, and the general public were the protagonists of this cultural festival. In addition to the council and Nibaldo Elizabeth Henríquez Ahumada, Elda Fazzy, Head of Community, Rolando Toro, Director of Service, we got very good reviews for this activity.
With a small sample of burlap and the spreading of historical stories, old photos of Lo Espejo let visitors know more about the place we live.
Thanks to the Park administration that gave us every opportunity to develop this activity and Carabineros de Chile to join us in almost the whole day. Next activity

Days of Memories and the Art of Lo Espejo

The Town Square located at the corner of Centenary and Maipú, was the place that gave the start to the Days of Memories and Art in The Mirror.
Project developed by the School of Education and Cultural Management, part of the grand project Memorial Pro- Victor Jara.
"The Mirror, reborn with Victor Jara" was the theme for this activity which had a good musical. On stage was this rock, traditional folk, Latin and of course singing songs from our friend Victor Jara.
was also seen a clothesline prepared by Luis Ramos, a prominent leader, containing stories, testimonies and photographs that provide insight into the history growing industry and the communities where we live.
With these activities, it is expected that people with stories and pictures of our community, dare to share that all may learn to appreciate this important historical site.
Visitors will also enjoy the beginning of juice and balloons that were delivered to children by a street band from San Miguel.
Residents and local leaders enjoyed an entertaining evening that brought the music, culture and history.
Victoria Oyarzun, Victor Jara Foundation, Elda Fazzy, Department Head of Community, Claudio Jerez, Claudio Olivares, territorial, on behalf of the municipality, accompanied us in much of the event.
