The Town Square located at the corner of Centenary and Maipú, was the place that gave the start to the Days of Memories and Art in The Mirror. Project developed by the School of Education and Cultural Management, part of the grand project Memorial Pro- Victor Jara.
"The Mirror, reborn with Victor Jara" was the theme for this activity which had a good musical. On stage was this rock, traditional folk, Latin and of course singing songs from our friend Victor Jara.
was also seen a clothesline prepared by Luis Ramos, a prominent leader, containing stories, testimonies and photographs that provide insight into the history growing industry and the communities where we live.
With these activities, it is expected that people with stories and pictures of our community, dare to share that all may learn to appreciate this important historical site.
Visitors will also enjoy the beginning of juice and balloons that were delivered to children by a street band from San Miguel.
Residents and local leaders enjoyed an entertaining evening that brought the music, culture and history.
Victoria Oyarzun, Victor Jara Foundation, Elda Fazzy, Department Head of Community, Claudio Jerez, Claudio Olivares, territorial, on behalf of the municipality, accompanied us in much of the event.
