HAPPY we have achieved this feat not seen in Lo Espejo. So, 334 Cuecas were those that sang and danced in this Cuequeros III Meeting 2008 "The Mirror, Sing and Dance 100 Cuecas and many more ..."
Organized, produced and directed in conjunction with " Set Labradores de mi Tierra " supported by the Cultural Office of Lo Espejo, was held this third version of this tribute to the cueca.
The start was at 13:20 Hrs. with children and young people in our workshop (who are now members of the Set) on a sample of "Choreography Cueca of 4 couples." The first 3 at 13:34 cuecas were sung by "Labradors of my land."
With the participation of 31 groups of all styles and places came to the amount of 334 cuecas. The goal this year was to surpass the 300 and we did.
